TPR-S (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) is a relatively new teaching method based on the natural teaching approach. For the first half of this workshop the presenter will explain how and why the method works. The three steps for TPR-S will be taught and participants will be given a chance to practice the first step in small groups. For the second half of the workshop participants will experience firsthand how students feel when learning a second language for the first time.
